Reading this book after the recent death of David Rakoff has been bittersweet. His was a terrifically observative mind that found the ridiculous in much of our society and conveyed his thoughts humorously, often with bite. I loved this book. I loved his rant about Barbara Bush in the book's beginning chapter, knowing that I had discovered a kindred spirit. A completely wonderful book for those of us who see the darker side of life with a sense of humor and bravado.
