Anthill: A Novel

Anthill - Edward O. Wilson The story of a boy who falls in love with a tract of wilderness in Alabama and makes it his lifelong goal to save it from development. He studies ants during his trips and eventually writes his thesis about the lives of these ants. This is included as a section in the novel. Terrific. I will never look at an ant the same way again!
