The Inheritance of Loss

The Inheritance of Loss - Kiran Desai Finally finished this! I cannot say that this is a "bad" book, but I could not get into it. The author writes intelligently and the descriptions of everything in the book are great, but there is so much narrative, not enough interaction and dialogue between characters. This is the only reason I could think of for my difficulty. It did win the Man Booker Prize, for heaven's sake!
