The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian
Wow. What a terrific book. The honesty of Arnold Spirit, Jr. The heartbreaking details of his life on the reservation. I can only say that everyone should read this book. Everyone who has ever had a dream in this scary life and who has hoped for more. This book is inspiring! Why don't English teachers assign books such as this? We would have more lifetime readers if they did.
