Delirium

Delirium - Lauren Oliver Oh, how I've missed YA novels......"Delirium" was the perfect book back into YA. Imagine a future world where love no longer exists, because everyone is cured of lovesickness by the time they are 18. Movies, television, books, and music are highly regulated. You are given a choice of 4 partners to choose for marriage. You feel no love or compassion toward fellow human beings. This is the first in a trilogy by Lauren Oliver. I can hardly wait for the next two. A cautionary tale of control and power and our ability to think for ourselves. Highly recommended.
