Eat, Memory: Great Writers at the Table: A Collection of Essays from the New York Times

Eat, Memory: Great Writers at the Table: A Collection of Essays from the New York Times - Amanda Hesser A collection of food memories written by published writers and a few chefs. Some are funny, some sad, all engaging. Recipes are included in most. Reading this made me think about how important food is in all of our lives, regardless of race, class, religion, gender. We all have memories of food and eating; some are great, some are painful. Some of us had to stay seated at the table until all of our food was eaten and some of us did whatever we could to get out of eating that which we thought was the most disgusting food ever! Food is the universal topic.
