City of Shadows: A Novel of Suspense

City of Shadows - Ariana Franklin This is a terrific historical fiction book filled with suspense and intrigue and surprises. I found the beginning a little slow, but I kept on and am so glad I did. The era of Germany between the two World Wars is the setting and Ariana Franklin's intelligent portrayal of this difficult time is fascinating to read.
