The Heretic's Daughter: A Novel

The Heretic's Daughter - Kathleen Kent The Heretic's Daughter is the telling of a family's experience with the Salem witch hunt. The physical and psychological implications of false accusations against a mother and her children. The first half of the novel introduces the reader to the family and their daily lives. We grow to care for them. The second half of the novel describes the horrors of the lies told by the girls of Salem. I was a little disappointed in the ending. I feel that the author ended the novel without giving more information about Sarah's adult life. If there were half stars I would have given this 3 1/2.
